Condo is a simple and elegant design. Once you create an hotel profile, you can see what's available in your area by scrolling through the list of available flats. You can also browse profiles of other users, or search for other users who are looking for flats near you. The rental section also has listings with photos, so you can get a feel for what the flat is like.

Airbnb has a more human-centric design. Instead of showing you listings with photos, Airbnb shows you listings that look like they could be yours. You can see the house, street, and neighborhood, and you can scroll through the photos at the top of the page. airbnb promotion 's not as visually appealing as condo, but it's also not as overwhelming as the layout may suggest.

To be clear, we didn't test hotel's rental or condo features to find out how good they are. That would be the job of a different article. But after testing both services, we found that hotel is generally as good as rental, if not a little better. And even though it doesn't have a lot of options, condo has an attractive layout that's easy to navigate.
